The Aiguille du Midi is situated in the massif of Mont Blanc. Peaking in 3 842 meters, she is the highest needles of Chamonix.
The needle is the place of destination of a cable railway - the cable railway of the Aiguille du Midi. His superior station is situated in 3 777 meters in height it is the point of departure of the descent of the valley Blanche and of the cable railway Panoramic Mont-Blanc which crosses the glacier(ice-cream maker) of the Giant up to the point(headland) Helbronner on the Italian hillside in (3 462 meters), with his(her,its) fantastic view over the valley of Aoste and all Piedmont.
